I'd imagine. You can't actually even damage him (despite what the game's text says) until that happens.

It's possible to defeat him without using the Fly Honey, just that it takes a really long time and is ridiculously hard. I managed to beat him without it once, and I don't want to do it again...

Why is this in the most unlikely crossovers? I just read a Lucky Star x Mother crossover yesterday and it fits perfectly well. Actually, high schoolers are more likely to save the world than middle schoolers.
