From the announcement video it seems it will be censored. I'm just hoping they don't have to cut or edit too much and that no online community tries to "cancel" it.

I was thinking about that. Without smartphones (or cell phones or internet of any kind) things might seem anachronistic unless they explicitly mention that that it takes place in the early 90's, but tons of stories (not just Ranma) don't work at all with access to those technologies.

Agree. Kevin McCallister's plot could have been prevented with a single call from a mobile phone. Most modern technology I remember from Ranma was a handicam.
