I really have no idea about how to translate the "hot spring type gold mine" properly, I think it basically means that gold being carried to surface by hot springs... Anyone who can come out with a terminology is appreciated
Well, the actual mineral deposit can be known as a sinter, but the only reference close to it that a few minutes perusal online dug up would be a "hot springs mine."
A quick look at the kappa's gear suggests that they are getting ready for underground or "hard rock" mining.
