Uhm... me too. I dunno but really is misterious and beautiful.

But it seems that she has a similar problem with Sanae, i.e. her common sense is different from that of Gensokyo. I wonder how this could be since she's supposedly a local.

I'm watching the translator work... almost... I keep reloading the page, and it gets slowly translated, buble by bubble... I find it kind of exciting... anyway, I hereby offer you my thanks MindFlayer...

I like the fact that she's kind of irrelevant to most people in Gensokyo's common traits, gives kind of an own image to the reader, while still having a personality and knowledge of her own.

I can now see Reimu chasing down Mima in order to smelt her into gold.

She'd be the Motherload.

And Kasen is now responsible for Marisa's and Reimu's newest get rich quick scheme where they refine various metals out of various spirits and sell them. I wonder if Kasen is aware of their combat prowess and general plot armor.

On that note, I wonder what desire would produce palladium alloys?

Wow, that is some seriously interesting idea about evil desires turning into metals. I wonder if it's ZUN's or Azuma Aya's idea, or it was adapted from Japanese folklore?

As a girl, you mean? No. But as a plot device and interesting character? Hell yes! She's incredibly mesmerizing. I'm very excited to read on. Pity the series comes out only once two months.

As a girl, you mean? No. But as a plot device and interesting character? Hell yes! She's incredibly mesmerizing. I'm very excited to read on. Pity the series comes out only once two months.

One day, she'll be a playable character one day or an antagonist.

She had a god do it; though I doubt said god would care to make gold; too many people asked him in the past, but this new alloy? It's a fun challenge.

Honestly, it's kind of both for me. She's very different from the typical Touhou character and I'm kind of digging it.

Kasen is my new favorite Touhou Character. But in true Touhou style, I can't wait to see who the fandom starts pairing her up with.

Doesn't explaining this ever occur to Kasen to be an extremely bad idea? "The natural cycle of death and rebirth produces a run-off of raw materials?" That has the kind of "great business" trappings written all over it that would attract humans (or anyone not a Hermit, I guess) which is the opposite of what she wants to accomplish.
