Actually there are not this many "you know" in the original text... but the word 咱 is a rather casual derivation of the word 我, which means "I". It is hard to find a word in English to present this casual and informal aura... so I instead try to use some additional conjunctions to make the context casual... Gods know that komachi IS a casual person, isn't she?

It stands to reason that Komachi actually worked hard to get this position just due to how cushy it was; though I suspect ZUN forgot the whole part of Komachi not being a "reaper" type, but a "ferryperson" type (See Komachi and Tenshi interacting in SWR), but I wouldn't be surprised if Komachi had some time as a Reaper in her past.
