Artist's commentary

The Kuromine group earns lots of money killing people in the underbelly of society, and the Azu group takes care of clean-up and disposal at the murder scenes.
A series about the everyday lives of two families living in a crazy world with constant gunshots.

Sakura no Sekai

Azuma worship is incredibly rare. An eccentric person who thinks Azuma is the coolest guy in the world. The details aren't clear yet, but it seems she was "saved by him" in the past. Basically, she has a gentle personality, but is on bad terms with Rinne and is scary when mad.

A lethargic girl with no motivation to do anything. However, she does almost everything asked of her in the end. She's the only woman in the group with a driver's license, so Azuma often asks her to drive. Has escaped a facility with Rinne in the past.

For some reason, she holds my weakness. I have a lot to complain about, but I'm too scared to stand up to her. Remember that you want to be on good terms.

Combat personnel who actually carries out the request received by Chiharu. She holds strong beliefs as she faces the business of guns and killing. She is honorable and dutiful, and values her friends, but shows no mercy toward her enemies. She believes fighting for Chiharu is the reason for her existence.

Absolute boss. Will do anything for the sake of profit. She has various connections in the underbelly of society, and makes a living by supplying weapons and taking murder requests. Sakura and Saaya see her as a kind mother figure, but on the inside she is an evil woman obsessed with cruel thoughts.

Chiharu found her and they live in peace, but her life is targeted for some reason by a mysterious organization planning to recover "Number 1032." She is kind-hearted, but no one knows what's she's thinking right now.

As the name implies, this is a group that disposes of corpses. They receive disposal requests from their boss (Chiharu) and live off of the compensation. When not working, they live happily together like a normal family.

They operate as the "Kuromine Detective Agency" in a multi-tenant office building in Tokyo. In reality, however, they are a group of professional hitmen that earn money by taking people's lives. Chiharu, Ruka, and the five in the disposal crew have been running the business, but Sakura and Saaya are also starting to get caught up in their activities.

They have a factory-like facility called the "Workshop" and when they receive work, they dissolve corpses there. Azumaya uses it like a school, doing personal research and teaching Rinne and the others.

Normally, the work goes like this: Chiharu receives the request to kill someone, Ruka carries it out, and the disposal crew destroys the corpse and any other evidence.

Although he studied chemistry at a famous university and researched medicine and the like, his mental health was poor and was discouraged from his life in normal society. After meeting Chiharu, he decided to step into the world of gangsters. He is weak-willed, but has real talent for crime.

As a result of frequently causing violent incidents in the Kansai facility, she was transferred to the Kanto facility where she met Mimori. After leaving the facility, she was found by Azuma and they're now helping Chiharu with her business. She has a disposition toward machines and things like cracking, but is docile in front of Chiharu.

Raised in a facility that trains professional criminals (mainly hitmen) and engages in human trafficking (ID number: 1032).

The youngest of the group at only 10 years old. While she is unable to do difficult tasks, she is actually the most eccentric and is even not afraid of dead bodies or blood, making her perfect for the trade. She loves Azuma and often inconveniences him by saying selfish things and pulling pranks. Her current goal is to learn division.

She was living an ordinary life in normal society, but when she met Sakura and the others, her life started to go off-track. After being treated unfairly by the company she worked for, she decided to quit her job and join the business run by Chiharu and the others. She will continue to love Sakura no matter what happens.
