スバルがかつて、第3回日本フランプリに向けて開発していた、オープンボディーの360・・・を目指して制作中という車両を、5月に行われたイベントで見掛けました。全く知らなかったので、大胆な軽量化だと思ってました。少ない当時の画像を見ると、屋根を切るだけでは同じ姿にならないようです。ポルシェ356のようなその姿は、再現しようとしたら別の車になっちゃいそうですよね。オーナーさんはそのような事は承知の上で、その道を進もうとされている訳ですよ。完成しなかった幻の姿が、どう再現されるのか？来年もイベントに行く楽しみが増えました。

I saw a vehicle that Subaru was once developing for the 3rd Japan Fran Prix, an open-body 360...and was working on it, at an event in May. I had no idea about it and thought it was a bold weight reduction. Looking at the few images from that time, it seems that cutting off the roof is not enough to make it look the same. That Porsche 356-like appearance would be a different car if you tried to recreate it. The owner is aware of such things, and that is why he is trying to go down that road. How will the phantom figure that was never completed be recreated? I look forward to going to the event next year.
