The characters are still lesbians, although it's either the headcanon the artist likes to imagine or they want to show their support for lesbians, trans-women, and/or transbians by illustrating their favorite characters. Either way, it's a cute drawing, and it makes me sad it's getting downvoted.

I really don't understand why people are downvoting fanart of a game focused on lesbian love, with a very significant lgbt audience (almost all of my trans/lesbian friends really like the game), created by a trans artist depicting one of the gay main characters as being trans or in support of trans individuals.
I guess that's just transphobia, it's irrational, out dated, and deserves to be abolished.

There's lots of capital G "Gamers" on this site so most visible LGBTQ+ representation will get a post downvoted, spammed, flagged for frivolous reasons (see post #7166215's moderation history), etc. Oh well, such is the internet in many places, I wouldnt lose sleep over the kind of people that do such things.

Sorry but no, if that isn't enough than nothing is. She has both breasts, significant body hair and is waving a transgender flag around. If that doesn't clearly indicate gender transitioning then I don't know what does.

Since it can be argued that Ariane is just-as-likely simply an ally, it should not be tagged.
