Bryce Papenbrook, the voice actor for Eren Jaeger came down to Kawaii Kon 2015 so I painted this to sell and also give to Papenbrook as a gift, and for him to sign for my own copy! When I met him and said it was gift, he mentioned that he recognized it from other fans bringing it up to him to sign! He said that he’ll sign my copy if I sign his, so there was a slightly awkward moment of making sure we both got each other’s signature on the right print…but anyway!

I struggled a lot with this one in the beginning. It wasn’t until I decided on having a slice of light that everything started coming together, and I’m happy with how it turned out, despite not knowing what to do for the background…wall texture ftw!
