I really didn't want to drill a hole through any metal part of the chassis, so I did a lot of searching, and when I learned about this wiring lead on a mechanic's website, I thought, "Score!" Thank goodness!
I laughed when I saw there was a load of sponge rubber packed inside, but all I had to do was take it out and then repack it, so it was a cinch.
