First the wandering spirits drifting from Hell and now this Moriya Dam plan. I wonder why Kasen, being a hermit, can express so much interest in others affairs, enough to give guidance for Reimu and Marisa. I have yet to see what she intends to do about it.
Maybe she wants to prevent technological modernizaton from entering Gensoukyou? Who knows. She does seems to be skeptical about technologies presented by the Moriya's.
theres got to be even a grander conspiracy at play then just whats presented on this page, I can feel it. putting the underground plant into play, then supposedly abandoning it as "too dangerous" to deal with the underground and moving on to a Muon-catalyzed Fusion reactor, and now onto Hydroelectric power?
whats next, a conflict between Kanako and Yuuka because Kanako wants to build a wind farm on the Garden of the Sun?

I think it all has to do with faith. The underground reactor was too out-of-the-way for people to pay respects to the Moriya Shrine for it, so instead they create a surface reactor and make a big production out of getting it started.
Speaking of which, the previous dam that was created from the landslide was just too unnatural. And yet, that were tremors, which beautifully created a blocked off lake.Recently, there has not been any storms, or any blizzards, and the ground around here is pretty stable. The Kappa have expressed interest. But there is a very big problem. When we proposed the construction of the dam to them, they were very happy to offer their help. All along, all of you decided to create a dam by causing a landslide?
