Even though all of these images are pretty much exact copies of one another with one or two elements switched, every single one of them makes me spasm from cuteness.
It has less to do with being a dog or cat and more to do with comparative body-masses. I don't know how much chocolate it would take to poison a human in the same way.

Actually, the lethal dose in humans is around a gram per kilogram weight (presumably because we metabolize it faster than dogs and cats), and chocolate meant for eating straight has ~1.5g theobromine per kilogram weight, so you'd have to eat two-thirds your weight in Valentine's Day chocolate to die of theobromine poisioning.
So a 80kg man would have to consume around 117lbs of chocolate before he done in from theobromine poisoning. That's beyond physically impossible regardless if you're a human or youaki.
