Damn, people can't accept this kind of opinions huh?
Why should they accept the opinion when it's just someone hating on something popular? Whether a game is worth someone's time and money is always up to the individual. Telling others that their game sucks and to go play something better will get the same response regardless of whether it's a gacha game or not.
None of those games are worth your commitment, much less your money. Have some self-respect.
Well, since your comment has downvotes, we may said that we don't care as we have our own preferences on games. I wouldn't be surprised if you want to make a mess.

Those commenters may have missed that point badly, to say at least
GFL 2? If you enjoy "You disappeared, none of these folks you basically raised to have souls gave enough of a shit to bother searching for you and just scattered to go on with their lives." then sure.
That's why I only keep games with auto function (Arknights, Azur Lane, GFL, GFL2, Blue Archive, HSR), because at least I could make an in-game progress while doing something else (cleaning, studying, working, cooking, etc.). Do dailies and auto farming as side activity during work days, then progress the story while on weekends

More like "You left because you didn't want to be a tool in stupid political games, and the government forbade any of the folks you raised to have souls from contacting or joining you"
multitask i guess? learn which games can be played at the same time. though honestly, probably better to only have a few games you actively play and have some you play only during major story updates. better for the mental health

I can def agree for the 3d “open world” ones, most of them are Grindy asf and so stingy that the long and boring grind you do every day barely gets you anything. I also can’t imagine hopping on my computer to play a gacha game when I could play an actual game. The ones meant to be on phones tho? A good chunk of those are actually worth playing, yeah

Depending on who you ask, you could see almost the exact opposite of this statement, lol.
I don't disagree though. Feels like every 3d gacha that has, or going to come out, follows Genshin version 1.0 in terms of grind and rewards. Makes the time to reward investment feel completely out of wack. You really gotta enjoy these games for something more than the skinner box feedback loop to really stick with em long term.
From this list i was play in: GFL1, Azur lane, Arknights, Genshin. Right now i playing in HSR and GF2. And think to left HSR cause HP inflation and endless pursuit of meta.

Funny how I've seen people support others hating onto something when that said thing was something harmless, I've seen posts that were wholesome and were removed after a week or two. Danbooru is too biased sometimes and can't accept someone having different opinions if it doesn't align with them from what I've seen; I've seen people support "art" that was straight up rape and the amount of upvotes were near 30, but someone hating on gacha games because most of the ones shown in the picture are or turned out to be predatory nowadays is bad? They're always saying "don't like it, ignore it" but it apparently only works when they agree with their opinion.

Worth playing, yes, but not worth the time in some cases like, as you said, the 3d worl ones with exploration that are extremely stingy, hoyoverse being the pinnacle example nowadays.

I've seen people playing Genshin on the computer because they can't afford playing Breath of the Wild and they liked the exploration but after everything was done it felt lackluster for them the point of exploring and getting rewards to do so should at least be worth the grind if someone does it for that purpose, at least Natlan is doing something that should've been there from the start. The whole issue comes when the game keeps making the investment/rewards not even close to being worth the time

Even since I got my PC, I have had computer games. I expect all known computer games to have a higher general quality than mobile games. I have never played a “computer” gacha game (referring to the gachas that are meant to be played on a computer) with the same quality as any other computer game worth playing therefore I will not waste my time on them. This is due to the fact that because they still adhere to the same standards of a mobile game, they’re stuck between this limbo where they’re a shit computer game but too much (graphics, storage and controls wise) to be a good phone game. Hence why you don’t see people playing something like lies of P on their phone despite it being damn good and available on phone.
Mobile games are different from computer games simply because the standards for quality have been set differently. A typical mobile game is set to be a game where the person can log on every day for dailies, they have events, gacha banners, and are usually free but make most of their money off in app purchases. Now, I will say that there are def mobile games that are not worth the time and effort. Obviously. However most of them have, like some ppl above said, things like autoplay and autoskip that speed up the process and make it more bearable. But it still comes down to how good that game is at the end of the day.
Personally the game I care most about is nikke and that along with battle cats will most likely remain to be the only mobile games i will ever truly care about. The generosity of currency, 2nd only to Azur lane (on this list) , the music is second to none with them releasing whole albums or 2 every few months with a song every 2 weeks. it also brings along the extremely well written stories, and the arcade shooter gameplay, while subjective, is objectively extremely good and is also extremely nostalgic for me. and obviously I can’t deny finding a good chunk of the women attractive, and the enemy design and mechanics are both extremely good with the art style for them being ridiculously "non-anime" and paints them as an actual threat opposed to most other mobile games. The community is also better than most even if a huge chunk is just fuckin gooners😭 My biggest plus for nikke that keeps me going for so long comes from dailies taking 7~10 minutes with most of it being autoplayable, then I never touch it again until the next day. There is just so much that game has and gives over every other game that makes it one of the few games in the App Store worthy of its 4.8 rating that puts it above all the others on that list. Probably why this artist drew it bigger too.
If that last part seems like glazing then yeah it’s because partially yet truthfully it is. If nikke had a dick I’d prolly be sucking it rn😂

Like what? Never heard of this before.

This is mostly because those opinions are unneeded. It's like horny comments. No one wants to see that

Elaborate on the HP inflation? I heard Adventurine was screwed over

Same. Alternatively, set on auto on one game, and do normally on the other

Then again, this may help you practice if one works on BPO industry, especially one handles multiple customers at the same time
Yes, I really don't like these games that are built on a scummy, predatory business system that people like you have come to accept as the norm. Everything - story, visual design, gameplay, music, it all comes secondary after the gacha aspect. "But the story is good!" - I don't believe you, people say "it's good" about literally everything, it became absolutely necessary to personally go in and access the quality (which I have only done with Genshin and it's mediocre at best). And yes, it is very upsetting to hear people cheer for fancy new skins in these borderline-worthless games every time, including on this site, because it shows that it's only gonna get worse.
And seriously, what is the point of those "auto-games"? Without needing your attention, they're simply occupying space on your device. I can understand people who don't have a lot of free time to spend on proper games, but this is such a dogshit solution that actively damages gaming in it's entirety.
I'm playing 8 gachas right now, definitely doable if you manage well and treat a few of them casually without letting FOMO get to you but I feel like I reached my absolute limit, if I want to pick up a new one I'd have to either drop one of them or abandon the thought of playing "normal" games for a while. That said I know people who play like a dozen of them.
As for whether it's worth it or not, it's your time and your money, only you get to decide.
damn this is rare cases where normie world and gacha enjoyer world collide
no wonder non-hoyo gacha fandom are gatekeeping themselves
"Gacha enjoyer"? I thought every gacha player admitted to themselves that it was sort of a guilty pleasure, but apparently I was wrong, you actually fully accepted this crap.
You can gatekeep your gachas all you want, you were rot to begin with anyway.

I noticed that Azur Lane, Nikke, and Genshin are the thickest among the games. Is there any correlation between their sizes and how "grindy" the games are? I only have experience with Arknights.
It could be based on how much time the dailies take up. I only have experience with GI, H:SR, and ZZZ, but in my experience ZZZ lets you burn a days worth of energy/sanity/scrumbulon in a couple fights and as many minutes, SR can be left on auto battle and you just have to hit repeat until empty, but GI can take around half an hour as you have to do a lot of manual battles to burn the resin and either explore or do quests for the dailies.

Makes some sense, I play Azur Lane and there are too many things to grind daily, Operation Siren being the worst of all. Even with the auto-battle, auto-explore and auto-repeat the game has, everything must be "processed", as in, the map exploraition and the battles are played, never skipped. I, at least, take well over one hour when trying to do everything. So, from all the gachas I play, AL is the grindest.
Mind you, I quit GI, H:SR and WuWa because they had long grind and used my PC. I need my PC to be free while I do dailies in my smartphone. XD

Dunno about Genshin, but I know that with most of AL and NIKKE, you have to actually play out the battle (though you can leave it on auto mode and not have to do anything). Compared to, say Blue Archive or GFL2; for most of them, if you get a high enough rating once, you can just press the "auto" button and instantly clear it again, without having to actually play the battle out.
Well just doing dailies would save time. There would surely be one that you spend more time on than others though, so you'd just have to switch focus. If multiple have events and such than it is definitely going to be a bitch and you'd likely be forced on which to give up but I could see some managing it with a total loss.
