Every First Snow (aka when winter starts proper), Sister Tonia started a tradition of dragging Al, Mik and Claudius out to lay in the fresh snow and view the mountains from the woods near their convent. Couple of centuries later, Mother Almonde mechanically wraps a thick scarf around Lazarus and takes him out to watch him roll around in the snow (and wave off any concerns about she herself being underdressed for it for obvious reasons) 😌
