As I recall in this series, Myon = Youki was established a while back. Still, this is kind of heart warming when you think about it. Respect thy elders.

Wasn't this series contemporary? No wings, animal ears replaced by headbands, and obviously no floating half-ghosts around...

Damn it, did Rapattu have to change that fact? I'm a little tired of people calling him Youmu's grandpa. Ok, i'll concide to it though. In this story its her grandfather.

Just curious but where does the "Youki=Youmu's father instead of grandfather" part comes from? ZUN?

The only thing that's official is that Youki is Youmu's former instructor and predecessor. Whether he is her father/grandfather, or if they are actually related is yet to be revealed...

I figure she wants to pay her respects to the loving and caring grandfather she remembers when he was alive, as opposed to the annoying dirty old ghost hanging around with her.

I'm thinking about Colonel's Youmu and mini Yuyuko.
