    I've been frying my brain trying to decipher what CP means in that one peculiar context, and I have failed.
    Safe to assume it's not corporal punishment, cheese pizza, or champion points, but it looks like some kind of ship, maybe romantic or not.

    Yep, it means "Couple". It's how you usually refer to a 'ship in Japanese (and I guess Korean as well).
