Honestly I'm being reminded of that very weird game I played once, when I had a lot of fever. I don't remember if it was Bound by Flames or Lord of the Fallen, but it was some kind of very weird Slav Gothic clone, and at some point, you open a coffin, meet a vampire that ask if you're in 2456 or something, and you answer you're just in 2054, and he tells you very rudely to sod off.

Nevermind, you're right, it was exactly this scene. Which is weird because I'm murderously sure I never played Witch 3, the first one already discouraged me. And the book was worse.
