What I don't get is, if they're married, wouldn't they share the same funds. Or maybe this happened before they tied the knot.

Before this strip was translated I thought Sanae used what she saved to go shopping. Now I see that she used it to take care of business instead.

My parents both work, and even though both functionally and legally they jointly share all their assets, they still talk about "my money" and "your money" as though there were a distinction. Most likely what it means from a practical standpoint, if anything, is that the loss will come out of Kogasa's share of the entertainment budget.

I still have the thought that they're just couple for now. People tends to call his girlfriend "wife" on the internet, or among friends to say that "she is mine".
