Though about the doujin. I am highly confused what exactly happened. Remilia turned her into a vampire right? So how come she does not recognize her? And they are immortal right? But it almost seemed like Remilia got killed there. =|

There is a possibility that the main part of the doujin happens in a far future and everyone has just forgotten Sakuya. (That would mean Marisa has become a youkai magician.)
Also the clock in post #874779 might mean that Sakuya somehow screwed up time after Remilia bit her.
The author said that this was supposed to be first part of a trilogy so hopefully we see more soon.

My interpretation was that remi tried to turn sakuya into a vampire, but somehow screw it (sakuya lost his personality, and became a mindless vampire)(ITs cannon that she can't turn people into vampires)And that caused a heavy emotional shock to the point of completely forgetting about sakuya, who would roam freely in the house killing all the fairy maids (easier food). Then again I have a thing for downer stories, so all that kinda appeared into my mind

Where in Canon does it say she cant turn people into vampires?

Perfecto Memento in Strict Sense. Although that might have been that she can't just do it with a bite...but those she sucks all the blood out of become husks of a sort, not vampires.

It does state on Remi's wiki page that she's a "light diner" and her victims rarely die from their wounds. While its not directly stated, this implies that her bite alone will not turn people. She's probably the type of vampire where an exchange of blood is needed or one of the numerous other turning myths.
The general impression I get is that she never turns people as she never drinks enough to get near that point, so who knows how she would turn someone.
