I think that this story was written before the earthquakes hit japan.

From the sounds of it, he wrote it before, or was at least finishing it up, when the earthquake hit, and the subject matter became too close to home for him to be willing to sell off.

    Ouch,

Poor Gensoukoumuten... Suddenly his last doujinshi verged into "Too soon" territory. :(

    Fixing the translations a little.

Still, being a (questionable) story writer myself, I'm sure I would be traumatized as well if I was him, or even worse.

Appreciate the thought, but you actually UNcorrected my grammar. I've adapted part of the fix and reverted the rest.

the story he wrote came into reality ... no wonder he scared.

but I hope he won't give up to release this doujin. the message about live he mention before, I bet it will be beautiful like his earlier works.

Is the world really listening to our souls?

Or maybe our souls listen to the world, and some people can somehow interpret such messages, even if they are unaware of it, in the form of ideas and inspiration.

iirc an episode of the tv show "Fact or Fiction" recounted the story of a news reporter who out of boredom wrote a fictional piece of a Volcano exploding and killing many of the island's natives. This piece however was accidentally printed on the front page of the newspaper. This would have resulted in a recall of all the newspapers that were printed that day if not for the actual event transpiring...

In a similar vein: Morgan Robertson, an American author popular in the early 20th century, wrote a novella he called Futility, in which an 800-foot-long ocean liner named the Titan strikes an iceberg in the North Atlantic and sinks. There is heavy loss of life, owing to an insufficient number of lifeboats. Sounds pretty unoriginal, until you find out that Futility was published in 1898, 14 years before the wreck of RMS Titanic.

After the quake, the pictures flowing past on the TV continuously tormented me with a swirl of meaningless terror and guilt. I came to feel as if it was entirely my responsibility that the world I drew was rapidly becoming reality. In that instant, I became terrified to show this work to others, and unwilling to put it up for sale or participate in the convention. Even now, as I am resolving to announce this, I'm not sure what to do. As an artist, I don't think I've ever been this scared to announce a work.
