And what's up with this story anyway? At first it looked like the usual comedy stuff with some rule 34, then it became sad and tragic, and now it's all weird and confusing.

I don't know what it's called but typically it's worn by the ghosts of dead people as part of their outfit as depicted in Japanese shows or such to signify they are spirits or as such.

The author is probably just doing what he happens to feel like doing at the moment, nothing more, nothing less.

Is this even part of the same series? I know it's the same author, but does his pixiv stuff say whether this is directly related to all the past ones with Kyouko/Sayaka/Mami, etc.?
