Don't you all know anything about anime lovers? Watching an anime during broadcast is a special thing. DVR or watching online lacks that something special of watching it on TV as it airs.

It's knowing that, as you're watching the anime during the broadcast, you know there's loads of other people doing the same thing at the same time for the same reason. Rather like when your favourite song pops up on the radio, you enjoy it more because other people get to listen to it around the country as well.
