Well, yeah, but most of them are in China. Consider too that we're talking about Japan here, who are not exactly chummy with China, and having two Chinese characters show up in a work becomes an even rarer event.

Actually... whether this fanartist meant it or not, there's --probably-- more sense to this pairing than it seems.

Plenty of reasons to pair these two. Meiling is a martial artist who's power is to control qi, and Yoshika is a hopping vampire which are known to love to eat qi. Additionally, both are stage 3 characters and serve as gatekeepers.

Should have saw this coming, still awesome though.

I think it doesn't really matter whether you're alive or dead when all your bones are shattered (or when you're burned down to ashes).
