I used to think FLCL was the best "Packed" anime I've ever seen, ("Packed" meaning most bang for your buck, meaning the most content fit into short time.) But this show only being 12 episodes was one of the greatest animes I've ever seen. The Music, characters, story, action and drama were well executed and produced. I can't even get this show out of my mind.
... You know, I honestly didn't think I'd like the anime. I thought it was just all the hype that made it good. But after watching this, I have NEVER shed tears over an anime, and I'm normally a completely hard-ass who never cries. I literally bawled my eyes out at the ending when Madoka says her goodbyes to Homura, leaving her with her ribbons so that she won't forget her, before fading from existence. Most certainly, this will be an anime I'm going to watch over and over again...
When people ask why I liked it, all I will say is that this show made me to watch more. Not to mention I gave a damn about the characters. Thats all there us to it.

Well,she can without consequences for the sequels, with Sayaka being dead and all that...
While I still think of Monster as the best anime ever, this show certainly deserved the respect it got! Nasty and still logical plot twist, characters who worked and a beautiful soundtrack.
Also certainly the happiest end I have seen from Urobuchi Gen
I was expecting cuteness, seeing as the art style was by Aoki-san and it was from SHAFT (Was expecting Hidamari Sketch references too), but instead, I got sheer badassery and a tragedy. This is the best anime I've ever watched out of the other 200
I'm a pretty damn hardcase myself, mostly, and yet I ended up putting off watching the last two eps twice because I wasn't up to the emotional roller coaster I knew they would be. Damn good series, damn good!
