  • がんばれ小傘さん 176

    自分の日頃の行いを小傘さんに投影して描いてみようという日記漫画です。

    「叶杉」と言うらしいです。
    ちょっと気になって調べたら、ほんとに「好きな願い」の意味の「なんでも」であってました。
    ニポンゴムズカシイネ!!
    描く前に調べろよと(笑)

    明日はコミック1ですね。新刊はないけど、新刊のようなものならありますw
    先週マジョ化しかけましたからね!(笑) せ19aです。

I think I know what Kogasa wanted to wish for. Seems the tree worked quite well.

Actually, it seems s/he couldn't make up his/her mind about it. The third panel is chock full of wishes, half of which are obscured.

Kogasa, don't make a wish! If you do, you will be forced to become a Magical.....Tree....Girl...

possibly after since Sanae hit kogasa so hard she forgot that her wife even wore the youmu outfit. (thinks its a dream)

In the title, I wonder exactly what's meant by the word "Japanese". I'm not that familiar with the language, so I'm not sure if there are separate words for (for instance) the language itself or people, places, objects, or culture from Japan.

The language. The third kanji means 'language', the preceding two mean Japan together.
日本人 would be the people, here the third kanji mean person.

She will when he buys 50% less merchandise or sells 50% more comics.

I must be missing something, but what would a(n) (unspecified) wish be if not "what you want", i.e. "anything"? A wish is inherently something you want.

The difference is, in an awkward English example, "wishes or anything" with "wishes of anything". The former in usual English would be "wishes or something like that".

    Oho.

Seriously, though, most of the time that a shrine/object/deity is attributed magical powers in Shinto nowadays, they're for a specific purpose, e.g. economic success, luck in love, or getting into a good school. In comparison, something that is said to grant any wish is somewhat rarer.

Looking at this comic, you could say a decent amount of those wishes have been granted over the course of this story.

I just meant that that's what they say. The double meaning is actually in "nandemo", which can be paired with "rashii" ("it seems") to make it sound more uncertain, as Yukari does in panel 2, but generally means "anything", which is how Kogasa interprets it as referring to the wish.
    Hm?
    What's this?
It seems that it'll grant anything you wish for!

    Good food-
When I said "It seems", I didn't mean it actually seems that way, okay?
