I seriously can't think how Luna and Sunny can deal with the situation.. Maybe they can dodge their attacks well, but other than that I can't think of any good moves for them..

Unfortunately, that was only because Yukari had been using light-based danmaku at the time. Once she switched to another type, Sunny was blasted as one might expect.
I'm more interested in what Mima will actually use here, having a whole 0 spellcards to her name in canon and a Trinity/Twilight Spark use risking a DQ (or at least calls of BS) for undodgable danmaku.
Hopefully Kiku gets a little creative with her, as almost ALL of us claim that Mima's going to be "an all-powerful badass with TWILIGHT SPARK and shit" in this tournament and expect her & Yuuka to practically be the Sisters of Destruction.
What I expect is Mima and Yuuka start fighting each other and then suddenly they both aim twilight and dual spark on sunny and luna but it is actually aiming at each other or something along that line.
Hm, well, it's possible to consider Master Spark/Double Spark to be light-based, right? If Sunny is able to control the refraction of light - and thus the movement of Master Spark - something like that might just work out to their advantage.
I can envision them hiding somewhere using their abilities, and the moment Yuuka decides to simply blast the entire arena with a Spark - bam, instant friendly fire.
I still think that Mima and Yuuka will throw the fight just to troll Reimu who will have bet her shrine on them to win.
Of course if they win the fight there's a chance that they will face Reimu in the next round, and I'm not sure if her plot armor can withstand two people who want to kill her.
There's always the possibility that the fairies forfeit before the match or something "happens" to them, prompting the some combination of Ichirin/Shou/Hijiri to fill in.

That was more because they got lucky with how things happened and (from my understanding) Satori isn't exactly strong. In any case, Cirno/Wriggle don't prove to be a threatening team for Round 3, so Tenshi/Mystia will most likely destroy them.

Satori's only a stage four boss, and a lot of her power depends on stolen spell cards. Daiyousei has hardly seen any and Cirno is dumb, so it's no surprise she wasn't as effective as she might have been.

Yuuka and Mima are unable to communicate with each other for the entire battle, and the match ends when Yuuka and Mima knock each other out with ridiculously powerful lasers thanks to Sunny's redirectional shenanigans.
Satori- Not exactly a power-house when you exclude her spell card borrowing ability, and she comes off as kind of frail for a Youkai, especially when dealing with an Ice Fairy that likes to use ice chunks as weapons.
Honestly, the fairies' best shot is indirect combat and deception.

Shame the two fairies fighting are as dumb as bricks, maybe if they had Sapphire they'd stand something of a chance at deception...
Yuuka is slow in PoFV solely to balance the game. In Mystic Square or Kioh Gyoku she's not as slow. If think about it seriously, there is absolute no way for Luna and Sunny to win. But I'm sure hitomiji can again mindrape us. My bet is for Luna and Sunny, because if I bet on Yuuka Yukari will kill me.
my guess is that Sunny and Luna will perform well and at least show enough of their abilities, but will be outplayed, rather than overpowered, with Mima and Yuka taking below average damage, since the latest fights (save for Mokou and Koishi) helped build some "favorites" (Yugi and Tenshi, though Mystia was a bit of a handicap for Tenshi).
Or else, Luna and Sunny get to surpass what would be the tournament's most cruel matchup so far, and also win the fight after, just so that they're not seen as cannon-fodder or warm-up matches. Or.. they're so tired after the fight that they have to be replaced by Byakuren and others.
It would be awesome if the fight ended in two pages. First page Yuuka... "destroys" sunny with a smirk and "hey, they regenerate, don't worry" and next page Mima vaporizes luna with her beam and "you don't need to tell me"

More like that's what the two fairies attempt to do only to lose anyway cuz' I can't even begin to imagine the sh*tstorm the author would have to put up with if he let's the two dumber members of the Michievous Fairy trio defeat fan favorites like Yuuka and Mima. Also this tournament needs monster-heels desperately. The Tenshi/Mystia combo (the only "evil" team that has won so far) is not enough and while Yuugi/Komachi is a pretty monstrous combo, both are fairly laid-back with Yuugi prone to holding back for sport and Komachi known for her slacking.

And the Tenshi/Mystis team's only antagonists because Tenshi's self confident enough in her power that she's derisively bored of her opponents before the fight starts and Mystia's a heckler, so they're not even really all that evil either.
If Mima loses against these girls, I'll be PISSED. But another common thing is that the most unlikely pair wins...thus making me even MORE pissed. But I still have hope...
