I know what you mean. This and their last work, post #913876 do give off a different vibe then what im used to seeing from them. i don't mind that though, its still a very nice picture.

actually, I dont think she is invisible. You actually dont see any behind her. Note the one lowest on her arm. surely that would be seen on the other side. Also the lack of any on her back, etc.

actually it only looks like its wrapped around, after looking at it for a bit i realied its actually one ofuda with another on top of it, which does unintentionally give the look of being wrapped around

Yeah, like I said in his last piece, I didn't realize this was Ao Usagi until I opened the thumbnail. While the eyes (looking like ringed_eyes or al_bhed_eyes) are the same as those found in the rest of his work, the style in this picture is different than usual. It could be that he's trying out new, different styles; the lines in this are a lot thinner and looser than normal, and he uses hatch shading instead of the shiny look he usually employs. In addition I fail to notice any of his more common themes-
