    Can someone tell me how to read the first two kanji there? I know the rest of the translation, and it seems to be the name of the village.

    According to 'Perfect Memento: Bunbunmaru Newspaper':
    阿礼乙女 (Are-Otome): Girl of Are
    阿礼男 (Are-Otoko): Boy of Are

    EDIT: They came from the names of shinto priests and shrine maidens in the "kamo no matsuri"(kamo festival), aka. aoi matsuri. In the festival, Kamigamo shrine conducts "Kamo no Miare", aka, "The Great Are Ritual."
