原初のウルトラマンは、「 ﾃﾞﾔｧｯ！ﾃﾞﾔｧｯｯ！！」とカン高い鳴き声を上げながら這いずり回る小動物に過ぎなかった。( とは言え、我々人類から見ると十分に巨大だが… )
スペシウム光線のような高度な技も、もちろん使えなかった。代わりに、肛門近くにある臭腺からゲル状のスペシウム腺液を射出し、その刺激臭で捕食者を撃退していた。
その後、我々の知るあのウルトラマンの姿に至るまで、実に80京年の歳月を要する事になる…それはもはや、銀河の神話であった。

The original Ultraman was nothing more than a small animal that crawled around making a high-pitched cry of "Deyaa! Deyaaa!!" (Though from the perspective of us humans, he was still huge...)
Of course, he couldn't use advanced techniques like the Specium Ray. Instead, he shot a gel-like Specium gland fluid from a scent gland near his anus, and repelled predators with its pungent smell.
It took a full 80 quadrillion years for Ultraman to take on the form we know today...he was a galactic myth.
