None of the other three deserve the mascot position at all. None of them have even come close to how involved Aya's been in this comic. Hell, she deserves the heroine position a lot more than Keine, but that's a different matter.

God this artist... he is a master of mixing horrifying with hilarious expressions. Every time I see new strips from him I get all giddy with excitement over what sort of demented visage I'll get to glimpse today.

Aya and Hatate are supposed to be the comic relief(though it's not really needed). Momiji is Mascot, Nue is the new character, and Keine is the heroine.

And what is her role supposed to be, anyway? For that matter, what about Marisa, who is the only other character that comes close to being shown affection by Rinnouske?
