若干の違和感を妖夢に感じつつ、俺は妖夢についていき朝食を取ることにした。

そう俺が言うとニコリと笑って箸に卵焼きを取ってみせ

そんな・・・あーん、だなんてやったことないから驚いてしまったじゃないか・・・。ちょっと恥ずかしい。
でもまぁ、他には･･･

誰もいないから、いいよな。
そう自分に言い聞かせ、卵焼きを食べる。

にこにこ

妖夢はこちらを見て様子を見ている。

妖夢「大丈夫、分かっています、貴方の好みはわかっていますから口に合わないわけがありませんよね」

にこりと言う

「え・・・ああ、うん、おいしいよ」

何？今のはなんだ？なぜか言えなかった。

「ところで・・・さっきから気にはなってたんだけど、何で刀を持っているんだ？食事のときに」
そう聞くと、不思議そうに

妖夢「？？？だっていざというとき斬れないじゃないですか」

いざというとき？何かが侵入してきたときとかそういう意味か？

「そ・・そうか、ん？というか指どうしたんだ？切ったのか？珍しいな・・・大丈夫？」（作者の心情:よし俺が消毒してやろう）

妖夢「ああ・・大丈夫ですよ、全然痛くはありませんでしたから」

にこりと言う

「そうか？ちゃんと手当てしなきゃ」(作者の心情:だから俺ｇ(ry）

妖夢はぼそりと

妖夢「必要だったので･･･隠し・・」

何に必要だったのか、よく聞こえず、その後も何か聞けない雰囲気が漂っていて、結局聞けず終いになった。
