It is 'new-way', more or less. And 'kay-nay', and 'mah-ree-sah', and 'flahn-durr' (well, not really, but it's definitely not 'flan-dray'). If there is one good that a Touhou anime would bring, it would be the fans finally learning to pronounce the characters' names.
