    Anyone recognize the formulas and variables used?
    The board 2nd from top and from left (The one Doctor is writing on), I am assuming is calculating the angular velocity and angular acceleration.

    For what reason? I don't know.

    Edit: Taking a look at it, it kind of looks like the formulas you would use to get the escape velocity (or at least the energy required to achieve it), otherwise I don't know why you would need Kinetic Energy, Potential Energy AND the angular velocity and angular accelerations in the same boards.
