I'm mildly neutral to this guy's yuri art, but this just disturbs me. A canon mother/daughter relationship being turned into . . . damn it, someone please pass me the brain bleach. I don't want to read Yakumo family doujins without this popping up in my head.

Putting aside how wrong "canon mother/daughter relationship" is, this picture is not particularly yuri at all, and the fact that you saw it as such says more about you than it does anything else.

I didn't think this was yuri at first. Maybe it's because most of the pairing pictures of this artist's I've seen was yuri, I assumed that this one was too. (But I swear I saw Yuri tagged here). Now please don't go around assuming everyone's psyche is this and that, please. It's irritating.

And isn't Ran feeling like a mother to Chen canon?
