I'm starting to figure this out. When Koakuma started out, she just enjoyed trolling Patchy mercilessly. And then somewhere along the line she started liking her, which kind of ruined things a bit. Now she's trying to walk a tightrope, doing nice things for Patchy while still trolling her as best she can.
