While the visual style does match their work, I cannot find this piece here on Danbooru, or on their Pixiv, Twitter, or Blue Sky accounts. If it is their work, I have no idea where it came from

It's bizarre, it's undoubtedly nopetroto's art style but there is nothing anywhere of this piece, I could have sworn they had a fanbox account at some point but I can't find anything and I doubt that this other person could have exactly replicated the style even with AI

Yeah, and it's certainly not AI; way too much fine detail. Edit: another possibility is this is another account belonging to nopetroto themselves and they decided to stick it here and nowhere else. I don't know what would motivate them to do that though.
