I have some heartwarming information to share with you. In Japan, there is a type of light race called "soft horse racing" for retired horses. Haruurara won this soft horse racing event for the first time in her life."
Basically, retired racehorses in Japan occasionally have "show" races against one another without any stakes or expectations, and Haru Urara won her first first-place win at one of these retired races.
This art makes me bittersweet, on one hand I'm happy she finally won a race, on the other I feel sad it took her until she's an obaachan to do it, but either way I'm proud of you Haru for making your dream come true, you can rest now sweet girl.
