lying is a possibility. on the other hand, patchouli is a powerful magician. it wouldn't be a big stretch to think that she cured each of those curses herself.

I wonder if this is some Patrolling or she;s serious about those curses ._. either way nice change of pace.

If you are an established magician more than likely you may know a spell or two.

She regularly comes up with new spells putting them into books and adding them to the library, it'd hardly be surprising that there'd be a few unpleasant ones here and there.

Could it be that you're familiar with every book here?
