Am I the only one a little terrified at how Cal's hands, arms and upper body are built like a male body builders, but she's got the most absurdly feminine hips?

I still like the image allot, but the contrast still freaks me out a bit.

Spartans were freaky looking. Between all the drugs, the gene therapy, and surgical enhancements that began right as they were going into puberty, they ended up looking quite inhuman. Even the males would freak people out if you saw them without the armor.

Her hips aren't all that feminine really, they're just big, they could be all muscle under the suit for all you know and that is probably the case.
Testosterone they would've used to enhance muscle growth mostly affects the upper body, most female spartans would've still had a wide hip bone. You can see that in female body builders.

My first thoughts on this image. I thought Berserk went space age.

i prefer "The Package" Halsey, actually, because she looks younger than she is (kinda reminds me of Samus Aran) but what about kelly (spartan-087) or linda (spartan-058)... Legends did a fairly good job with kelly, but anyone whose read the novels could AT LEAST MAKE THE EFFORT to make a picture of linda (she's the sniper)

This is Space Marines. Spartans looked almost completely human, just bigger, and better than normal.
