This artist draws some pretty cute faces, especially around panel three, but seeing it in panel four still being kind of cute when it's clear masochism is... a little unnerving, actually.

Unfortunately, gold (or any form of metal) coins are somewhat less of a Newtonian fluid in real life than they are in cartoons. As in, you'd be diving head first into a pit of lumpy metal that wasn't about to give way and let you through...

Wasn't that brought up a couple of times in the show, that Scrooge was one of the very few people even remotely capable of doing that? I remeber at least one person trying to do the same in the show and just klunked his head like you would in relaity
