    In my experience, most doujins are just about one character really wanting to bone another, and obsessing over it. Futa has a lot more subtly, where people and love interests come across as friends on equal ground. It also helps that all the characters are feminine (even Rinnosuke), so they act more realistically.

    Its a little hard to describe, but most doujins make the girls rather masculine, which is a problem outside of a comedic setting (in a comedy, we expect people to act against type).
