It's camouflage to make hiding the blood until they clean it off easy and/or hide among scenes of gore, though, not actual stains. Bloodstains are more brownish.

It's rather anime-ish, and it doesn't break any rules. Plus, there are plenty of posts that are original and are the only post by a certain artist. What's the problem?
