When a character's eyes light up in excitement, with yellow four-pointed sparkles in the center of their eyes replacing their pupils. Sparkles may also appear around their head.

Do not confuse with sparkling eyes, which is for sparkles near the pupil rather than replacing it, or with star-shaped pupils or cross-shaped pupils, which is for characters with naturally star- or cross-shaped eyes, such as Nia Teppelin or Chinchou.
