Female protagonist of Gundam GQuuuuuux, better known by her nickname, Machu. She is also the second female protagonist of a Gundam TV anime, succeeding Suletta Mercury from Gundam Suisei no Majo. Machu's mobile suit of choice is the GQuuuuuux.
Her voice actress is Kurosawa Tomoyo.
Amate's character design is similar to Elpeo Puru and Puru Two from Gundam ZZ.
