Throughout the years, they have acquired numerous studios and come to own many franchises, including holding the exclusive rights to produce the Madden NFLamerican football games and FIFAfootball games (until 2023 when they lost the FIFA license). They also had an exclusive license to produce video games based on the Star Wars series.
