Kido Shinji is the protagonist of Kamen Rider Ryuki and the one who transforms into Kamen Rider Ryuki. He is the apprentice reporter working for ORE Journal, a mobile online news distribution company. He is considered an idiot, for better or worse. However, he has a strong sense of justice, and not only tries to protect publics from Mirror Monsters, but also works hard to stop the conflict between the Kamen Riders.
