A /k/ meme that has reached ridiculous proportions.
Originally just a picture of an Operator (Delta force) soldier drawn by shino, 4chan looked upon the drawing and found her unabashed cheerfulness in the face of death and violence a fitting mascot for a website where GuP and gore threads share viewers, and proceeded to photoshop her into literally hundreds of different comics, cartoons, backgrounds and other images.
Formerly just another picture of a cute girl in military gear, the new "Operator-Chan" meme grew big enough that it was recognized by the official artist and several of his peers, imitated by a South Korean military reenactment group, painted onto South Korean APCs, and turned into a patch which you can buy at unlimitedpatchworks.com/ once it gets back in stock. (It has sold out six different times)
