Edit
The nickname of a player character in a "'Let's Play' video series" uploaded on NicoNico called "Let's Play Fallout 3 PC Edition with a Little Girl, Owata-style". She is a blonde haired girl with twintails and she wears a variety of clothes that are not at all suited for combat.
オワタ式 (owata-shiki, owata-style) in Japanese game slang carries the same meaning as "sudden death-style" and refers to a style of play in which MODs and hidden commands are used to fix the player character's hit points at "1". "Owata" comes from "Jinsei Owata".
There are several unique points in this "sexy" play video made by JAX.
- A MOD is used to turn "Vault101のアイツ (Vault 101 no Aitsu, Dat Dude from Vault 101)" (a nickname for the Lone Wanderer in Japan) into a little girl. (Instructions for installing the MOD are explained in the video creator's blog. )
- A MOD is installed for modifying attack power. The attack power is about three times that of normal.
- A MOD is used to increase a portion of the number of enemies by up to five times.
- The gore setting is always OFF.
This video series ended on Part.25 while being well received. The total number of deaths was 380 times.
In this video, there was a scene where Owata-ko was saved from danger by the Mysterious Stranger called forth by her perk. Judging from the stranger's dubious appearance, viewers of the series posted joke comments saying "that is definitely JAX's personal avatar". Also, near the close of the game, her little sister appears as a companion and JAX simply called her Owata-ko 2.
After that, he created a sequel titled "Let's Play Fallout: New Vegas PC Edition, Owata-style" that was concluded on April 28, 2011. The main character of this video was a girl with silver hair called Owata-ko 3 but, unfortunately, she ended up being erased when the game's saved data was lost in Part.6. From there on, he returned to the starting point and re-introduced the original Owata-ko.
