A fictional manned combat giant robot from the Gundam mechaverse. It first appeared in the Char's Counterattack anime film from 1988.

An attempt by Anaheim Electronics to cheapen and simplify the Zeta Plus mobile suit - resulting in the Refined Gundam Zeta, a new MS deployed by the Earth Federation Space Forces Londo Bell fleet.

Omitting the transformation mechanism in favor of a backpack that enabled a simulated Wave Rider Mode, it ultimately didn't perform as expected, and the data obtained from the two prototypes - one piloted by Amuro Ray and Chan Agi - helped to create the first mass production transformable MS of the Federation - the ReZEL.
