A fictional type of mecha equipment from the MACROSS science fiction series.
The Tornado Pack is a special weapon pack created for the VF-25variable fighter that has a multi-directional turret with two powerful beam cannons as well as additional armor and thrusters in it.
In real life it was designed by artist and series creator Kawamori Shouji. The Tornado Pack was inspired by an early design Kawamori created for the original VF-1 mecha from the first Macross TV series from the 80s, but that was never used back then.
